T010 - Coexist in 55 Languages T-shirt
Our Coexist Languages Unisex T-shirt includes over 55 translations of the universal 'one word poem,' which has become our most popular series of designs. This version of Coexist shirt is screen printed on a black shirt with light grey and white ink. This 'Coexist' design is our one word poem. It is our prayer, our wish, our dream. Our rendition featuring all seven letters as unique symbols was inspired by Polish artist Piotr Mlodozeniec. In 2001, Piotr submitted his original symbolic graphic word design, simply and dramatically juxtaposing the main three Abrahamic faiths: Islam, Judaism and Christianity to a Peace museum in Jerusalem called Museum on the Seam. His design was part of a contest of European and Middle Eastern artists, depicting visions of coexistence. Museum on the Seam made billboard sized images of the winning submissions, one of which was Mr. Mlodozeniec's design.
