Here we have an original painting by Brigid Ashwood depicting the triple raven spiral, or Morrigan. Among the Irish Celts, the raven was associated with the Triple Goddess, the Morrigan, who took the shape of a raven over battlefields while acting as “Chooser of the Slain” and the protector of warriors. Each of three ravens has a cluster of oak, olive, and hawthorn in it's beak around a Celtic Triskle.
